Most runners know they should be doing more than just running. The question is what, exactly. This specialist 60-minute workshop answers that, and puts it into practice.
Led by Catrin Dawson, Pilates instructor and keen runner, you’ll learn how Pilates directly supports your running, work through effective warm-up and pre-run activation exercises, build the core strength every runner needs, and finish with reformer-based work on the feet, ankles, hips and glutes: the areas that matter most for runners.
A great companion to your autumn training block. No Pilates experience required.
Catrin Dawson leads the Pilates for Runners workshop at Luma Pilates, Edinburgh.
