Join the wonderful Mylène Mackay for a grounding, gently energising practice to mark the Spring Equinox on Sunday 22 March at 5:00 pm.
In Five Element theory, Spring belongs to the Wood element. It’s the season of renewal, vision and the quiet power of new growth after Winter.
Qigong and Yin are deeply restorative practices that balance the body rather than deplete it. Most people leave feeling calm, clear and quietly recharged.
We begin with 15 minutes of simple Qigong. Soft shaking, swaying and breathwork help release what the colder months may have stored and invite fresh energy in. From there we settle into a slow Yin practice focused on the Liver and Gallbladder meridians, with long, supported postures mostly lying on the mat.
We’ll finish with a short guided meditation. Come exactly as you are. Props are here and no experience is needed.
